Brockley: where are the classes held?
Our Brockley course is held at the gorgeous Brookmill Pub on Cranbrook Road with great connections to public transport, and just a few minutes walk from St John’s station.

How much are Brockley antenatal classes?
Our Brockley antenatal classes cost £259 for two people. We also offer a single-parent discount. See our FAQs for full details.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Anna.
Anna is one of the midwives that teaches our Brockley antenatal classes. Anna has been a midwife for nearly 30 years (gulp) training in South East London and working in South East London. It is the only job she ever wanted to do from the age of 11, like her Grandma before her.
She has hit a new parenting stage with a tween and teenager in the house. In her spare time she cooks, bakes and is a self-confessed feeder.
She says, 'I am so looking forward to meeting you and your bumps and sharing a part of this special journey with you. It is such a privilege.'
How does this differ to NCT classes in Brockley?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid, at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes nearest to Brockley, are in New Cross and are priced at £369, compared to £259 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes nearest to Brockley take place at Hatcham House in New Cross, whereas our classes take place at the Brookmill pub so you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.

Most of the people coming on our Brockley course are from Brockley. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of New Cross, Nunhead and Honor Oak.
From walks in Hilly Fields and trips to Greenwich, to coffee shop hangouts and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Brockley antenatal classes are never short of things to do together.
