Croydon: where are the classes held?
Our Croydon antenatal and hypnobirthing classes are held at The Venue on Middle St, which is in Croydon town centre and is close to East Croydon and West Croydon stations.

How much are Croydon antenatal classes?

Who runs the classes?
Meet Holly.
Holly is one of the midwives that teaches the Croydon antenatal classes. Holly has been a midwife for over 6 years. She trained in Nottingham and moved to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital when she qualified. She has worked in many different departments and is now in her favourite place (Community) where she looks after families before and after birth and supports home births. She loves supporting families to feel more prepared for parenthood and help them create a positive birth experience. She enjoys giving out top tips and hacks to make every parents life that little bit easier. Her favourite thing about teaching antenatal classes is watching the group build friendships and become more confident over the month.
How does this differ to NCT classes in Croydon?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Croydon are priced at £369, compared to £259 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Croydon take place at the Gingerbread Corner Nursery, whereas our classes take place at The Venue on Middle Street so you can relax in lovely surroundings and make the most of socialising with your course mates.

Most of the people on our Croydon course come from Croydon. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Wallington, Thornton Heath and Beddington.
From walks in Lloyd Park to coffee shop hangouts and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Croydon antenatal classes are never short of things to do.
