Guildford: where are the classes held?
Our Guildford antenatal and hypnobirthing classes are held in the function room at the Weyside pub in Millbrook, which has parking next door.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Hollie.
Hollie is one of the midwives who teaches our Guildford antenatal classes. Hollie qualified as midwife in 2015 from the University of Brighton and has worked in a variety of birthing settings. She is a busy working mum of one and owns the most cuddly cocker spaniel. She says: “I’m looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the course - I will be providing you with lots of helpful information and practical tools to help you feel positive and confident for birth and beyond! No doubt we will have a laugh along the way!”
How does this differ to NCT classes in Guildford?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Guildford are priced at £199, compared to £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Guildford are held at St Francis’ Church Hall whereas our classes take place at the Weyside pub so you will be in lovely surroundings where you can make the most of socialising with your course mates.

Most of the people coming on our Guildford course are from Guildford. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Godalming, Woking, Farnborough, Aldershot, Farnham and Cobham.
From walks in the Surrey Hills, to coffees in the city centre and hangouts at each other’s houses, graduates from our Guildford antenatal classes are never short of things to do.
