Kentish Town: where are the classes held?
Our Kentish Town antenatal classes are held at The Vine pub on Highgate Road, a 7 minute walk from Kentish Town underground. It is also just 10 minutes from Tufnell Park and Gospel Oak underground stations.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Holly.
Holly is one of the midwives who teaches our Kentish Town antenatal classes. She graduated in 2020 from Cardiff University where she worked on the labour ward and in the birth centre before moving to London to join a team of continuity midwives. She has recently started a new role as a research midwife and can't wait to share her experience of caring for birthing people, as well as up to date evidence based information with you. In her spare time, she enjoys running, knitting and looking after her 'fur' baby- as pictured! She says: “I'll be a friendly face and ear during the lead-up to becoming parents, I can't wait to get to know you, and help you feel as prepared as possible to welcome your little ones.”
How does this differ to NCT classes in Kentish Town?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, the nearest NCT classes close to Kentish Town are priced at £369, compared to £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes near Kensal Rise are held at Chalk Farm Salvation Army whereas our classes take place at The Vine pub you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.

Most of the people coming on our Kentish Town course are from Kentish Town and Camden. The course is also popular with people living in the neighbouring areas of Belsize park, Chalk Farm, Archway and Hampstead.
From walks to hampstead Heath and along Regents Canal, to baby classes and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Kentish Town antenatal class are never short of things to do.
