South Oxford: where are the classes held?

Our South Oxford antenatal classes are held in the private room of the Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel on Church Way, Iffley

How much are South Oxford antenatal classes?

Our South Oxford antenatal classes cost £199 for two people. We also offer a single-parent discount. See our FAQs for full details.

Who runs the classes?

Meet Emma.

Emma is one of the midwives that teaches our courses in South Oxford. Emma qualified from Leicester University. She says, "I'm feeling thrilled and privileged to be supporting you through your journey into parenting - and beyond! Preparing antenatally for this transition is going to pay dividends later and I'm so excited to help you feel ready and confident at this awesome time."

How does this differ to NCT classes in Oxford?

NCT classes have been around since the 1950s and for many decades were the only antenatal classes. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case. Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes in Oxford are not the same as NCT classes in Oxford, or other antenatal classes in and around Oxford. Here are some of the differences (as per December 2024).

Our local Oxford community

Most people on our Oxford course are from Oxford. The course is also popular with people living neighbouring areas of Kidlington, Eynsham, Kennington and Headington.

From walks along the river and to all the museums, to hangouts in the coffee shops and at each other’s houses, graduates from our Oxford antenatal classes are never short of things to do.
