Nether Edge, Sheffield: where are the classes held?
Our Nether Edge, Sheffield antenatal classes are held in the private room of the Lescar on Sharrow Vale Road.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Annie.
Annie is one of the midwives who teaches our Sheffield antenatal classes.
Annie trained in Oxford and graduated in 2015, now working on the birth centre in Chesterfield and specialising in maternal mental health and bereavement.
She has 3 young children and a new found love for bread and pastry baking! Annie is thrilled to work with HPHB and says, ‘I am really looking forward to getting to know you and preparing you for the wonder of birth and parenthood. It's such a privilege to be part of your journey!”
How does this differ to NCT classes in Sheffield?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Sheffield are priced at £269, compared to prices from £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Sheffield are held at Highfield Trinity Church, whereas our classes take place at the popular Lescar, where you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.
