Who runs the classes?
How does this differ to NCT classes in Solihull?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal courses include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Solihull are priced at £269, compared to £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Solihull are held at Silhillians Sports Club & Conference Centre, whereas our classes take place at The Beech House so you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.
Our local community
Most of the people coming on our Solihull course are from Solihull. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Hockley Heath and Dorridge.
From coffee shop hangouts at Boston Tea Party and Cafe Isabella and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Solihull antenatal classes are never short of things to do together.
Is it worth it?
“These antenatal classes will teach you everything you need to know, with a dose of fun and humour included. The specialists are fab and it was great to meet other local people in the same situation as us.”
